Our mission is to support research, essay, reports, drawings, paintings, relics, artifacts and the like, that help others to create, collect, document, preserve, and disseminate heritage-relatedinformation. Our programs inspire others, especially youth, to create, locate and share information that helps Migration Herigatge Foundation realize its vision to document the past, examine the present, and preserve the future.
Our awards include the following: (1) scholarships to needy high school graduates, GED recipients, and currently-enrolled college students; (2) stipends to K-12 students, via parents, guardians or to non-profit organizations that serve the needy, and (3) fellowships to college seniors and graduate students to support scholarly research and writing.
We make awards to needy individuals of all ages and skill levels that develop literacy skills through writing and other artistic pursuits. Once they deliver products, we assist them in converting them to digital format for presentation online. Our awardees thus produce digital and physical items to populate our heritage center and museum.
MHF is a non-profit charitable organization with 501 (c)(3) status.
